Robotics in Education Symposium
The symposium is running on 12th of September 2018 from 11am to 5pm at Nile University in parallel with the 8th Egyptian Robot Olympiad
The World Robot Olympiad (WRO) is a global robotics competition for students between the ages of seven (7) and twenty one (21).
It brings people together from all over the world to develop their creativity and problem-solving skills through challenging and educational robot competition.
- The symposium is aimed at the presentation and discussion of the latest results and methods in the fields of research and development in Educational Robotics.
- Researchers are brought together that work on new applications, the latest products, or systems and components for using robotics in schools, in universities and in informal education. The objective is to provide an insight into the state-of-the-art of Educational Robotics to participants from both academic and school education.
- The aim of the Egyptian finals is to qualify Egyptian students to the International finals. This year we have around 180 teams who participated in local tournaments only 79 teams would be able to reach the finals taking place on 12th of September at Nile University.
- We are proud to be part of a nation-wide movement to promote the Science and Engineering role in the society. We hope to benefit our community and further the cause of engaging more Engineers and scientists in the Egyptian scientific development.
